Emergency Light Testing
TCS can design, install, commission and produce a testing regime for your emergency lighting ensuring full legal compliance across your site.
Emergency Lighting is a legal requirement and is needed when the normal electrical supply to premises fail. This test is not just for 'escape lighting' but also standby lighting which may be used for escape lighting.
If supply to normal lighting or parts of normal lighting to premises fail, escape lighting is required to fulfill the following functions:
"Escape lighting is required not only on complete failure of supply to the normal lighting but also on a localised failure, when such a failure would present a hazard, e.g. a single sub circuit on stairways. " - Extract form BS 5266-1:2005
