TCS Energy Solutions will review your current energy profile, building health and relevant test certificate status to determine any areas of concern, produce a report of any immediate requirements and suggest a schedule to manage your future certification obligations and areas for improvement and cost saving.
TCS Energy Solutions will maintain a database of your test certificates on your own password protected website for easy access. This enables you to prove your site is safe and legally compliant, even with lost certificates and staff changes.
Ongoing services include emails notifying you prior to any test certificate expiring. This allows the renewal procedure to be planned and completed before expiry, to ensure you always meet your legal requirements.
Our management team, with over 85 years combined experience in project management and building management, from the contractor through to client, can advise on all services within a building. We specialise in energy reduction, and constantly monitor new ideas and products that come onto the market. This means that you do not have to waste costly time sourcing and assessing new products - we do all that for you.
Our team, together with your management, will structure an energy saving program that best suits your needs and budgets. We will advise on the latest products on the market, showing their benefits and proving the cost savings achieved as the program is rolled out, by the incorporation of ‘smart metering systems’.
Smart metering not only highlights the energy consumption across a site, but can break this down to individual circuits, allowing you to monitor energy consumption on specific areas of your site. Another advantage, it allows you to benchmark energy usage across sites, allowing for best practices to be monitored from site to site anywhere in the world.
After an initial meeting we can install smart metering in the agreed areas. We can also carry out a thorough energy survey of your building, including a thermographic survey looking for energy loss. From this we will then form an ‘ECR program’ (energy and cost reduction program) with you, working around your business requirements and within your budget constraints. We will then submit a budgeted costing, as well as the potential paybacks and timescales etc.
We can divide the building into sections, to enable you to spread the cost of the program over a larger period of time and help cash flow. Each step of the ECR will be done in conjunction with yourselves, including regular update meetings with your company representative. You therefore have full control at all times. Generally we recommend the instigation of the quick payback energy savings first. This means that after the first few months you will be able to use the savings to pay towards the next stages, limiting impact on capital expenditure.
All surveys, testing and authorised remedial or installation work in connection with electrical installations will be undertaken by our NICEIC approved Electrical Division within the TCS UK Group.
