Derby BMX Club in partnership with Derby City Council decided to upgrade the already impressive facilities at Derby BMX Track Alveston. The aim was to provide lighting for the track to enable them to train and compete all year round. The project was to provide sufficient lighting across the full length of the track to enable them to hold championship competitions.
After going out to tender TCS (UK) was successful in offering a high class product and service which met all the requirements of the track. This project was approximately 3 weeks and involved installing lampposts, independent supply to each lamppost and making good. The fact that TCS can provide services from ground works to design to installation and access platforms makes us perfect for the one stop solution.
